In an effort to increase awareness, we aligned Volunteers of America, one of the nation’s largest social services nonprofits, with the LPGA. VOA became a founding and title sponsor of the Volunteers of America North Texas Shootout. In the tournament’s inaugural year, Volunteers of America generated over 100 million impressions via nearly 300 audio and video mentions during the four-day broadcast on The Golf Channel. In addition to extensive television, digital, and social coverage, the Volunteers of America logo was seen throughout the course on tee box signage, tee markers, scoreboards, hole flags, grandstand banners, and a 10-foot-tall oversized golf ball positioned adjacent to the 18th green.
